Abstract
Un milliard d’humains souffrent de la faim en raison d’une part, d’une pénurie d’aliments créée par l’évolution démographique, l’impact des catastrophes biosphériques et les activités prédatrices des hommes de l’anthropocénose, et d’autre part, une grande pauvreté limitant l’accès aux aliments de première nécessité pourtant disponibles. Hors le cas des événements liés à des causes naturelles, les déterminants biosphériques et sociosphériques sont la conséquence d’un système économique mondial déséquilibré pensé dans la noosphère, ainsi que d’une aide insuffisante aux plus vulnérables. Pour rénover l’impératif agricole, les supports techniques nécessaires (terre, eau, semences, paysannerie) paraissent actuellement suffisants (sous conditions) pour nourrir les dix milliards d’habitants de la planète annoncés en 2100. Cependant des incertitudes persistent : force de volonté politique, évolution démographique, niveau des changements climatiques. Il y a urgence à prendre conscience de la gravité de la situation présente et au-delà à engager la lutte contre le développement de la faim dans le monde.
One billion people suffer from hunger due to food shortage, caused by demographic trends, the impact of disasters and biospheric activities, predatory man activities of the anthropocénose as well as great poverty reducing access to staple foods yet available. Except in the case of events related to natural causes, determinants and socio-spherical biospheric are the result of an unbalanced global economic system thought in the noosphere and fail to help the most vulnerable. In order to renovate the fundamental agricultural system, the technical requirements (land, water, seeds, peasantry) currently appear adequate (under certain conditions) to feed the ten billion people expected to share the Earth in 2100. However, uncertainties remain: political force, demographics, level of climate change. It is urgent to realize the gravity of the situation and beyond, to start the fight against hunger in the developing world.
